Y’all… I need to tell you something straight from my heart.
When I sat down to write this book, I thought I was simply sharing our homeschool story—how we stepped into this life, what we learned, and how God met us along the way. But the deeper I wrote, the more I realized something beautiful:
This book is about so much more than homeschooling.
It’s about finding peace right where you are—in the middle of the chaos, in the quiet moments you didn’t expect, and in the seasons of life that feel nothing like the ones you planned.
It’s about learning to recognize those gentle nudges from God… the ones that tug at your heart long before you have the courage to act on them. It’s about obedience—not the loud, dramatic kind, but the quiet, steady yes that changes everything.
And here’s the truth I hope every reader feels deep in their bones:
Regardless of how your children are educated, your relationship with them is what matters most.
Not the curriculum. Not the schedule. Not the picture‑perfect moments we imagine everyone else is having.
Just connection. Just presence. Just the slow, faithful work of loving your people well.
My hope is that as you read these pages, you’ll feel invited to pause and take inventory of your life—past and present. To look at where God has carried you, where He’s grown you, and where He might be calling you next.
Maybe He’s stirring something new. Maybe He’s asking you to release something old. Maybe He’s simply whispering, “I’m here. Keep going.”
Wherever you are, I pray this book gives you the courage to reflect, to listen, and to step forward in faith and obedience—one small yes at a time.
Because the life God is shaping in you? It’s worth paying attention to.
